Hamilton overpriced in Qualifying

Despite Lewis Hamilton’s well publicised slump in form during the latter half of last season and his supposedly indifferent start to this one, his last ten qualifying grid positions have been: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 9th and 3rd. Race Fuel Strategies

I am not the first person to notice the difference in BMW’s fuel strategy for their two drivers over a race weekend. Their current tactics seem to involve fuelling one driver lightly and sending him off as a hare in qualifying, whilst the other driver carries a heavier – and presumably more optimum – fuel load for the race on Sunday. Bahrain Outsiders: Trulli and Rosberg

Jarno Trulli and Nico Rosberg are a couple of drivers at decent prices that I want to keep on the right side of this weekend, particularly in the qualifying and fastest lap markets. I am going to wait until after tomorrow’s sessions to decide on how to play the race, but others already keen on these two have picked up some great prices. Continue reading…

Bahrain Grand Prix Data Sheet

pdf-icon.jpg There is not as much data to go on as usual, with just four previous F1 races held at the desert track. Hopefully the attached data sheet will still prove useful in the forthcoming battle with the bookies. Let me know what you think.
